The One Direction boys are back in the UK and catching up on their old lives. However, Louis Tomlinson decided to make a stop off at theX Factor Cardiff auditions which were held yesterday. Hmmm we wonder what he was doing there.
At the end of the day, after witnessing all the X Factor action, Louis made the controversial claim that Tulisa Contostavlos was the best judge of the day!

Louis spent the day tweeting various people involved in this year’s X Factor including Xtra Factor hosts, Olly Murs and Caroline Flack. Apparently, they’re going to make a good team this year:
“Must say @carolineflack1 and @ollyofficial work so well together great vibe! Having a good laugh today!”
He later wrote, “Had such an amazing day at the x factor!! Great to see everyone what a laugh! God I miss that show.”

The ‘X Factor’ host explained the N-Dubz star – who is joined on the ITV1 show’s judging panel by Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Kelly Rowland – has already shown her feisty side in the auditions stage of the competition.
He said: “Tulisa from N-Dubz has been brilliant because she’s a real little scrapper.”
Meanwhile, Dermot admitted Take That singer Gary is “extraordinary” as a judge, and he has even taken over from Simon Cowell – who quit the series earlier this year to launch the US ‘X Factor’ – as the panel’s Mr. Nasty by asking one female contestant if she used to be a man.
Dermot added to Absolute Radio’s Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show: “Barlow is extraordinary. We had a situation. There was one line where we couldn’t believe he said it where a woman came on and she finished singing and she wasn’t even that bad and Gary says, ‘I’ve just got one question to ask. Have you always been a woman?’ It was genius.
“I thought, ‘I can’t believe you’ve said that’. It was brilliant. The thing about Gary is there is no way you can turn around and say, ‘You don’t know what you’re talking about’ because he’s Gary Barlow.”

The N-Dubz star has spoken in the past about mental health issues her mum has suffered, but Tulisa has now revealed she too has tough times.
“(It) can be quite bad and last days,” Tulisa told the Metro.
The singer filmed a documentary last year called ‘Tulisa – My Mum And Me,’ which saw her open up about her mum suffering from schizoaffective disorder, a cross between bipolar and schizophrenia.
And talking at the the time the star of this year’s X Factor judging panel said she feels depression can happen to anyone.
“My own feeling is that everyone has the ability to become depressed or go to a dark place…” Tulisa shared on the show.
“I have been through a lot for someone my age but it has made me strong and determined and I have to pray that is enough for me not to suffer the way my mum has.”

N-Dubz say they still intend to honour tour dates this year – amid rumours the band could be splitting up. (WHICH IS UNTRUE!)
The British hip hop group from London are due to play at the Villa Marina on Thursday, August 18.
But the Sun newspaper is reporting tensions are running high in the band over Tulisa Contostavlos joining the X-Factor as a judge.
It claims fellow band member Dappy is furious over her decision to join the show and has signed up with Tinchy Stryder’s management for a solo career.
However, the paper quotes a band spokesman who says N-Dubz will perform live throughout 2011 and plans are in place for another single and album

Reports reveal that Tulisa was booed off and left in tears by Cheryl Cole’s fans at this weeks Manchester Xfactor auditions. Tulisa who took over from Cheryl after she left the U.k’s xfactor for the American version has received good feedback and a lot of the contestants are happy with her , but reports claim that cheryl’s fans were chanting “Bring back Cheryl, bring back Cheryl” and boos from audience members angered at Tulisa’s outspokenness during the auditions. However an insider told “Star magazine” that the X Factor bosses are really pleased with Tulisa’s performance so far. Personally I think that tulisa is doing a geat job! I mean you have to give her a try, she’s been in the music business longer than Cheryl! Maybe not so popular in the past, but she is popular now. I think it is great that tulisa is a judge and has replaced Cheryl , fans of the xfactor will never know the real lovely tulisa that ndubz fans know if they don’t give her a chance! So what do you guys think? Do you think cheryls fans are taking this xfactor business too far? Or is it all just lies in the media again!

N-Dubz’s Dappy has said that he is proud of Tulisa’s new job because it’s a marker of their group’s success.
The ‘Spaceship’ star joined Tinchy Stryder to be guest editors of The Daily Star’s Playlist and he revealed his pride for his bandmate and cousin.
He said: “We are proud of Tulisa Contostavlos becoming a judge on ‘The XFactor’. N-Dubz came from nothing and she is good enough for that big show, which means we are good. N-Dubz have made it, yeah!”
Even though the N-Dubz stars pride themselves on their humble beginnings, Tulisa’s father has claimed that her upbringing was very different from the lifestyle she has portrayed in the media.
Tulisa’s father, Plato, who was a keyboard player in 70s rock group Mungo Jerry, toldThe Mail On Sunday: “I am so proud of Tulisa, but it frustrates me to see her painted as a bad girl because as a child she was spoilt rotten and had everything she wanted.”
He also added: “I don’t know where this image of her being from the “ghetto” comes from. It’s not the Tulisa I know. She is a well brought-up girl who had a comfortable childhood.”
