X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos was spotted out in london today attending the BBC Radio 1 for an interview with Fearne Cotton.
Tulisa wore an all-navy outfit as she braved the rain in London today
Tulisa teamed her outfit with a large pair of grey-rimmed sunglasses and ensured she was protected from the elements by a bodyguard carrying a umbrella.
Tulisa has been working hard promoting her new show The X Factor.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine yesterday, Tulisa revealed she is thrilled with the viewing figures of the show over the weekend.
She said: ‘I’m really pleased with the result, I think everyone was nervous on the panel.
Tulisa was featured LIVE on the lorraine show on the 22/08/2011 at 8 am in the morning, article and video taken from Lorraine’s official ITV website.
“The X Factor judge Tulisa joins us to talk about the new series and starring in her first feature film.
Best known as part of the urban pop outfit N-Dubz, Tulisa Contostavlos was confirmed as a member of the new X Factor judging panel in May. Tulisa joins Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowlands as newcomers to the long-running show which began its eighth series on Saturday and saw the quirky Goldie stun the judges with her version of Copper Bell! Despite comparisons to Cheryl Cole, Tulisa is determined to bring her own unique flavour to the show.
Not satisfied with just singing and judging, Tulisa can be also be seen in teen slasher Demons Never Die, released across the UK on 28th November. The film follows eight London student involved in a deadly suicide pact which results in a fight for their lives.”
“The panel have had a total revamp this year bringing in fresh new talent Tulisa Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland and Gary Barlow to sit alongside veteran judge Louis Walsh.
And the new recruits believe they already have a stellar show lined up, hotter than any past series.
Tulisa and Kelly have revealed they have already seen a number of stand-out acts, while Louis Walsh has claimed he has had the most fun ever with the new line-up.
Hot stuff: The new line up of the X Factor panel, Tulisa Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow and veteran judge Louis Walsh believe they have the best show ever
And Take That’s Gary Barlow has proved more than confident about the new line-up and said: ‘There’s no one more valid than me, Kelly and Tulisa because we’re out there doing it right now. We are selling records, and we’re out there doing what these guys want to be doing.’
Gary, who has assumed the role of head judge, filling Simon Cowell’s seat, was also the one to deal a shock blow to 35 contestants yesterday.
The singer and songwriter sent a significant number of bootcamp hopefuls home before they even had the chance to sing.
He told the group:’We don’t believe everyone standing in front of us has the potential to make it all the way in this competition some of you are going home now. I’m so sorry you are going home.’
Showing their metal: Take That’s Gary Barlow said: ‘There’s no one more valid than me, Kelly and Tulisa because we’re out there doing it right now. We are selling records, and we’re out there doing what these guys want to be doing
Twists and turns: Gary, who has assumed Simon Cowell’s role on the show has already sent 32 acts home from bootcamp before they even had the chance to sing in a shock twist
The cull came as a massive shock to contestants but clearly demonstrated that this year’s X Factor is set to be the toughest yet.
And it will also be the biggest with bootcamp contestants set to audition in front of thousands and the show will be ending with a gigantic live final at Wembley Arena in front of 10,000 fans.
While Kelly has admitted that she has a ‘nurturing side’ she will also be straight talking and speaking of giving feedback to contestants she said: ‘I would never want to sugar-coat anything.’
Glamour girls: While Tulisa and Kelly have said the new panel gets on great they have both displayed their competitive edge and want to be the one to win the competition
Aside from the desire to win the new line-up are getting on extremely well and the N-Dubz singer has remarked: ‘Almost too well. I feel like I’m part of a new family. It’s like being in N-Dubz but without the arguments!’
The new series of the X Factor starts on Saturday on ITV1.

Sugar scape posted this article on their website today regarding the x factor judges and tulisa!
“She may have been kicked off the US X Factor, but apparently Simon Cowell is still relying on Cheryl Cole to save the day on the one over here if it all goes wrong and Tulisa mucks it up.
Yup, according to Now magazine, Tulisa still can’t we totally trusted to make the show the huge success that Chezza made it and if this is the case Mr Cowell will make no bones of pulling his Geordie pet back in.
A source revealed: “[Simon] wants [Cheryl] waiting in the wings to save the UK X Factor, if Tulisa doesn’t work out.”
Poor Tulisa, that’s some pressure she’s got on her there, only the frickin’ nations’ sweetheart waiting to boot her out her judging seat.
Simon’s all controlling force doesn’t stop there, he’s also making sure that if Cheryl is going to be back in the UK doing TV work, she’s going to have her pert little bottom on an X Factor judging seat and none other – especially not The Voice which the BBC will be running.
The show, which will be broadcast in this country early next year after its massive success in the US, is looking for some big names to be on the judging panel, but a source revealed that “Simon wants to put a stop to any offers she’s had from the rival show,” to keep Cheryl tied to X Factor.
Bit controlling that one isn’t he? Would you like to see Cheryl back on the UK X Factor? Reckon Tulisa will be the mammoth success that Chezza was?”
Today the British news paper tabloid “The Sun” posted this article on their website
“Def Jam broke the bad news to him, Fazer and Tulisa this week after a huge clash of personalities with new bosses.
But Dappy has hit back, claiming the band were only dropped because they refused to be moulded into a pop act.
The deal started to go pear-shaped when L.A. Reid, the man who signed them, left to join the judging panel of the American X Factor earlier this year.
Without him to fight the band’s corner, a series of bitter rows kicked off over the label’s plans to change N-Dubz in an attempt to break the US charts.
Dappy said: “They might say they’ve dropped us but we were never going to co-operate with them when they decided to change what we are.
“If we had co-operated we would still be signed. But I stuck my finger up at them when they wanted us to make another Being N-Dubz TV show. Tulisa thought we should do it because we could make some money out of it, but I said no.
“They should’ve stuck with the band they came to see at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire. ”For them to say they dropped us makes me angry because we just didn’t want to change who we are or what we do. We’re not just a silly bunch of pop tarts.”
A label spokesman added: “N-Dubz have left the Def Jam imprint in the USA due to creative differences over musical direction.
“This was 100 per cent the band’s decision and they remain signed to Universal worldwide.”
Tulisa is quietly confident she will still get a shot at America.
She has signed a solo deal with Island Records, which has a clause for Def Jam to get first shout on her US chart career.
But the band should be careful about their reputation. American labels don’t have the same patience with difficult characters as their UK counterparts.”
But what “The Sun ” did not state is that the band left def jam because the major u.s label wanted tulisa and the boys to go in a different direction and well for the band it was not their type of direction that the label wanted them to take, by singing other song writers music , which all ndubz fans know that the band write and produce their own music with their crew, so the band asked to be released from the contract. We can confirm this news from Tulisa as she tweeted the news on to her twitter page saying…
“Regarding the story in the paper bout us bein dropped, its a load of rubbish,we left cus they wanted us 2 go in a direction that wasnt us!”
and
“And also wanted us 2 sing other peoples songs & stop writing r own, it wasn’t 4 ndubz so we asked 2 b released, and they kindly did”
what are you’re thoughts as ndubz fans or not fans about this ?

Tulisa Contostavlos has claimed that she will be the “rebellious” judge on this year’s X Factor.
The N-Dubz singer told a newspaper that she refuses to live a “showbiz” lifestyle and will not take orders for Simon Cowell or his production team.
She told The independent: “They don’t tell me what to do.”
Tulisa also spoke out over the backlash she received for confessing that she had smoked drugs and lost her virginity at the age of 14.
She said: “I was being slated because I’d said I’d smoked weed. I said: ‘Hang on. There are so many celebrities out there who do cocaine but you don’t know it because they don’t admit it, and these are celebrities whose posters are on kids’ walls.’
“At least I have the balls to stand up and say I made a mistake.”
Tulisa revealed that Simon Cowell wanted her to join the show to give it an edge.
She added: “I met the producers and then flew to LA to meet Simon.
“He said he’d checked up on my stuff and liked what I was about, even though I can’t really imagine him watching six episodes of ‘Being N-Dubz’ … He wanted someone a bit rebellious.”
