Tula Paulinea Contostavlos is better known as Tulisa, was born in Camden In London (UK) on the 13^th of July in 1988. Tulisa is a well known British / Greek singer, songwriter and actress. Tulisa is famous for being in hip-hop  trio Band N-Dubz with her cousin Dino (Dappy)  & His best friend Richard ( Fazer) . Tulisa is of Greek Cypriot and Irish heritage and the niece of N-Dubz’s former manager Byron Contostavlos of the 1970s pop group, Mungo Jerry. Tulisa’s parents Steve who was also in Mungo Jerry, and Mother Ann Byrne who was formerly a member of the 80’s pop group Jeep with her sisters. Whilst Tulisa was growing up she has experienced bullying, violence, depression and much more, and helping to care for her ill mother at a young age. Tulisa has come along way to live her dream of being a singer, from being bullied at her secondary school La Sainte Union Catholic Secondary School for girls, but at the age of thirteen Tulisa had the support from her parents and her uncle byron “Uncle B” and  then tried to put her life back on track and at fourteen years old enrolled in the same school as Dappy and Fazer, Haverstock Secondary School, which they had been attending since they were twelve, later going to Quintin Kynaston School in Westminster. Tulisa went onto to fulfilling her dream to be a performer , Dappy and Fazer, who had already started rapping together, decided they wanted a female voice in the group, which was called the Lickle Rinsers Crew at the time and they then invited Tulisa to be part of the group. They started performing together as a group around Camden from as young as twelve years old. Tulisa and the boys will go to their parent’s studio and record music and their mates would help them make the videos. After labels wouldn’t sign them , and being dropped from Polydor, channel aka started showing their talent N-dubz were then signed to Roar Global (their management , 2007 – present) and All Around The World (2008 – present) , since then the band have been hugely successful across the whole of the united kingdom, in 2007 Tulisa played the role of Laurissa (a cocaine addict who is in pop group The Fam and gets abused by her manager and boyfriend ‘Prangers’, played by Ricci Harnett) in the TV series Dubplate Drama. Her band mates also appeared in the show as different characters.In 2009 Tulisa did a solo song called “Comfortable” on their second album which started rumours that she was going to leave the group and go solo but those were false! Tulisa and the boys filmed their first tv series “Being Ndubz” in 2010 which was then aired across the united kingdom , she is also playing herself in the film “Bulla “ alongside Rochelle Wiseman from the Saturdays. Tulisa also starting filming her role as “Amber” in the new british film “Suicide Kids” released in early june 2011. Tulisa and the boys went to the united states in early 2011 to have talks with def jam and later confirmed by sources to be signed to def jam / island records, whilst over in the states the band were filming for their new series of “Being N-Dubz” this time titled ” Being N-Dubz…In America and Beyond” is to be aired in the U.K and the U.S.A this summer. Later this year Tulisa got the role as a judge on Britain’s top t.v show The Xfactor. Tulisa started recording her first solo single, and album for next year, and also did a charity song “Teardrop” for children in need. Tulisa launched her own perfume at oxford street in london.
